About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Peptides Raw Material R&D Assistant to support research and development efforts for peptide synthesis. The role involves laboratory experimentation, raw material testing, and collaboration with senior scientists to enhance peptide raw materials.
As a Peptides Raw Material R&D Assistant, you will contribute to cutting-edge research and innovation in the peptide industry, working alongside experts to develop high-quality raw materials for therapeutic and research applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Peptide Raw Material Research: Assist in the research and development of new raw materials for peptide synthesis, including amino acids, reagents, and solvents.

  • Experimental Design & Execution: Design and conduct laboratory experiments to evaluate the properties and performance of peptide raw materials, ensuring they meet quality and functional specifications.

  • Raw Material Testing: Perform physical, chemical, and biological testing of raw materials to assess their purity, stability, and suitability for peptide synthesis.

  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect and analyze experimental data, documenting findings, and presenting results in comprehensive reports. Assist in preparing presentations for internal teams and stakeholders.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with senior R&D scientists to improve existing raw materials and processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including quality control, manufacturing, and regulatory affairs to ensure raw material compliance and efficiency.

  • Quality Control Support: Assist in the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control protocols for raw material testing and validation.

  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage raw material inventories to ensure an adequate supply for ongoing research projects.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all research activities comply with industry standards, regulatory guidelines (such as GMP), and internal protocols.

  • Literature Review: Stay updated on the latest scientific research and developments in the field of peptides and raw materials by reviewing scientific literature and contributing to knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.

  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a laboratory environment, ideally with a focus on peptide chemistry, biochemistry, or raw material research.

  • Strong knowledge of peptide synthesis techniques, raw material testing, and laboratory protocols.

  • Familiarity with common laboratory equipment and analytical techniques such as HPLC, LC-MS, NMR, etc.

  • Solid understanding of organic chemistry and biochemistry principles.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex data.

  • Ability to document and present research findings clearly and effectively.

  • Proficiency with laboratory software, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in peptide synthesis, Analytical methods, Peptide raw material development, Regulatory requirements, GMP standards, Raw material qualification & validation processes.
